What do Tower Center at Unity Square volunteers do?

Find your niche and help us share once in a lifetime experiences that only Tower Center at Unity Square can provide. Big or small, volunteering at Unity Square is the perfect way to give back and show your pride for Bartlesville.

Volunteers serve as a guide for visitors to the Unity Square, answering questions about events, assisting to enforce park rules and help ensure visitors enjoy their experience while at the park.

Unity Square is the heart of Tower Center Arts District which most park visitors are not familiar with. We want to draw attention to the space uniting two iconic buildings and promote knowledge of the partnership between the literary, visual and performing arts of the Bartlesville Public Library, Price Tower Arts Center and Bartlesville Community Center.

Unity square has several different volunteer opportunities, find the one that best fits you! Park Ranger volunteers help facilitate events at the park through helping with setup and take down and light park maintenance during larger events. Park Preservation volunteers assist in landscape maintenance and with tasks including, leaf removal, mulching, pruning, weeding and other landscape tasks as requested.

Training will be provided in a short ½ day class that will take you behind the scenes at Unity Square and introduce you to what you will need to know to be a successful Volunteer.

As a Unity Square Volunteer, you will receive exclusive access to many of the events that Unity Square brings to Bartlesville. Volunteering at Unity Square is an opportunity to help promote the arts and culture in our town and make a huge difference as Bartlesville transforms into a city of the arts and history. You will receive a shirt that will identify you as someone who gives back to Unity Square!

Volunteers may choose which event they would like to help with. Park Rangers volunteers should commit to volunteer for a minimum of 4 hours per month. Events could include Food Truck Mondays, Exercise Classes, Movie Nights, Outdoor Concerts and more!  Park Preservation volunteers should commit to volunteer for a minimum of one landscaping session per month.
